Dr. Fong was born and raised in Mississauga, Ontario. She completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Guelph in 2006, earning a Bachelor of Science Honours Degree. In 2011, she furthered her academic journey at the Illinois College of Optometry, where she attained her Doctorate of Optometry with high Honors of Magna Cum Laude distinction. 

Dr. Fong's professional focus lies in the specialized area of myopia management and the care of the pediatric population. Her expertise is particularly evident in her proficiency with fitting Ortho Keratology (Ortho K) contact lenses, showcasing her dedication to innovative and tailored patient care.

With a distinguished career spanning over 13 years, Dr. Fong has garnered extensive experience, having practiced in both the United States and Canada. She has successfully completed the Canadian Boards, American Boards, and Florida Boards, further underscoring her commitment to professional excellence.

Dr. Fong possesses linguistic versatility, being fluent in English, Cantonese, and engaging in conversations in both French and Spanish.

Beyond her professional pursuits, Dr. Fong finds solace in quality moments with her husband and two children during her downtime. Her altruistic spirit also extends to volunteerism, where she finds fulfillment in participating in animal conservation-focused volunteer trips. Dr. Fong is thrilled to explore the Cambridge area and to contribute to the well-being of its patient population and vibrant community.
